The Dictionary of Medieval Latin from British Sources was the work of a long-term British Academy project team based at the University of Oxford. in its final stages the project was supported financially by the AHRC and the Packard Humanities Institute.
The DMLBS is based wholly on original research and it documents the vocabulary of Latin in medieval Britain. The project has been running for more than 100 years and the printed DMLBS was completed in December 2013. The project is now developing plans for turning the printed dictionary into an online digital resource.
